Essentials Range for a Smoother Skin – Beauty Factory Product Review

So in the last two weeks my skin has been softer than ever, and that is due to the fact that everyday I have had the choice of 6 Body Soufflés to work into my skin. In this post I will be reviewing 3 of these, they are all Body Soufflés with natural essential oils.

I have found that these products all have the same basic make-up, their only difference is the scent they produce and that they each have slightly different positives. They contain milk proteins and Vitamin E which ensure that your skin is nourished, hydrated and comforted. They are extremely creamy and rich, and have the perfect effect on you skin. After using these products, my skin has never felt better and more smooth. They apply wonderfully and are absorbed quickly.

Green Olive Body Soufflé

This Soufflé contains avocado oil and olive oil, which constitutes into an extremely refreshing scent of green olives and herbs. The combination of these two oils will smooth and protect dry skin whilst boosting anti-oxidants levels. Basically, it leaves your skin feel moisturised and soft.

Wild Lavender Body Soufflé

This products contains lavender oil and argan oil. Wild Lavender doesn’t only help your skin but the scent it gives off calms the mind and adds a sense of comfort. So using this product is great for the skin as well as the mind. The big benefit of these essential oils is that restores your skins natural moisture levels.

Orange Blossom Body Soufflé

The essential oils added to this product include lemon oil and olive oil. This combination promotes healthy purified skin whilst also improving skin tone and leaving it feeling soft and nourished. This product smells exactly like citrus blossoms in the spring time.

My favourite product out of these 3 is the Wild Lavender Body soufflé. This is purely based on the scent. I think they are all equally amazing on the skin. I think the best idea would be to purchase all 3 and alternate to ensure your skin receives the benefits of each soufflé.

This cruelty-free company never lets me down. The Beach range from Earth Bound has definitely won me over. I am a sucker for having wonderful scents float through air around me and these specific products have me hooked.

With a fragrance that cannot be confused with anything but the beach, these products contain the essence of sea minerals and kelp. .

Luxury Candle

Just like all Beauty Factory candles this one is nothing short of amazing. The best place to light this is in the bathroom whilst having a bath. The kelp extracts in the candle help incredibly in having a relaxing and peaceful bath, transporting one back to the beach. It has an extremely long burning time and makes a great candle light. The texture of the wax is of a soft consistency, and so one is also able to use it as a moisturising candle.

Luxury Room Diffuser

This uses diffuser reeds to transfer fragrance into the room around you. It is an ecological and natural way to perfume your home. I have placed my Beach Diffuser in my bedroom and my room constantly smells like the beach. The bottle and packaging is stunning, which makes for a beautiful ornament in your house.

Earth Bound Beach Range from Beauty Factory

I am a huge lover of Beauty Factory and I was lucky enough to receive a lovely package this month from them. This month is all about the Earth Bound Beach Range.

All these products that I will be reviewing in this post are made with the essences of sea minerals and kelp. Kelp is packed with vitamins and minerals, and it is wonderful for your health as well as for your skin. These products all share the same scent, which leaves you lost in the exact smell I associate with the Beach.

Another aspect I would like to comment on ,with regards to theses products, is the packaging. It definitely makes one think of the beach and a summers day. The hand wash and cream are perfect to use as display in your guest bathroom.

Luxury Shower Gel

This shower gel allows you to have a softer skin in and out of the shower. When I tried it out, I absolutely loved it. I am more of a shower gel ‘kinda’ girl than a soap one. It left my shower and my skin smelling like the scent of the ocean. The one thing I enjoyed about this product is that it is a true reflection of the saying ‘A little goes a long way’. I used a very small amount of product and I was still able to wash my whole body entirely.

Luxury Hand Wash

This product, as well as containing seaweed and kelp, contains vitamin E. This allows for your hands to feel softer and more pampered. The texture of this product is quite jelly-like, but once it is worked into the hands it becomes more liquid. It is very gentle on the skin and allows your hands to be pampered. The pump on the bottle is extremely useful and allows one to use the product efficiently. Be careful when opening this product as the pump actually pops up when you turn it to open it.

Luxury Hand Cream

This product also contains vitamin E, so using this in conjunction with the Hand Wash makes for smoother, softer skin that helps keep your hands moisturised. This hand cream has the strongest scent of all the products. I found it quite thin but still very nourishing on your hands. As with the hand wash, be aware of the pump that pops up when opening.

Another amazing thing that I must mention about the Beauty Factory is that they are lovers of wildlife , hence their products are cruelty free. This is something I always look for in a brand as I dont not support testing on animals.

Earth Bound Room Diffuser by Beauty Factory

Just unpacked my Earth Bound diffuser from Beauty Factory SA and to be honest. I’ve never used one before and had to read up a bit on how to use it. 🙈
Well. I tried it out and I love it. I used about 4 sticks and put it in my bedroom. It leaves an amazing scent that’s not too strong, but strong enough to leave your room smelling great. And it looks awesome. Definitely a must have.
How to use the diffuser:
Some instructions & helpful hints:
1. Place the sticks that came with your reed diffuser into the bottle to absorb the diffuser oil .
2. Flip sticks so that the “dry” side of the sticks is now closest to the bottle and the saturated end is in the air.
3. Place unsaturated (dry) end of the sticks into the bottle.
4. Let your reed diffuser naturally permeate your space. Reed diffusers will continue to evaporate into the air, creating a subtle and luxurious scent.
To refresh the fragrance of the reed diffuser, simply repeat steps 2-4.

Moisturising Body Butter and Shower Creme by Beauty Factory / Review

These two products pair so well. Leaving your skin feeling clean and moisturised at the same time. Sounds almost too good to be true?

I prefer using my shower creme with a good quality loofa. This makes a beautiful lather on the skin.

-Smell

I love my hot showers and great smelling shower cremes. My favorite part of this Moisturising shower creme is when you finished in the shower and walk past the bathroom a couple minutes later the beautiful smell of sweet musk is still lingering in the bathroom, filtering through the house.

When you open the lid of the shower creme the smell is pretty rich but I feel that the musky smell gets deeper when it warms up on your body in the shower, leaving your skin almost stained with the sweet smell.

-Texture

Be very careful with this product as it is quite runny. The first time I went to use it I poured way too much onto my loofa. It is almost too runny for me. Perhaps they could add a thickening ingredient to prevent wastage of the product. I always forget how watery it is and dump way too much out and end up wasting.

-Finish

The jojoba oil in the shower creme helps make the skin feel nourished and smooth. Skin looks noticeably soft.

-Packaging

This is my favorite kind of packaging for anything bath and body! It has a squeezy tube with a lid that flips on and off. No need to twist the lid off and have to twist it back on, with the possibility of dropping it on the floor in the process.

This Extra Moisturising Body Butter is very buttery and thick.

-Smell

This butter has the same musky scent as the shower creme but it is not as intense.

-Texture

Very thick and creamy. Soaks right into the skin. I love using it on my elbows and feet!

-Finish

Gives the skin a healthy glow. I find myself washing my hands after applying this to my body as it does it is too greasy for my hands. Any dry skin on my feet and elbows are softened and left looking supple.

-Packaging

Exactly the same packaging as the shower creme.

These two products pair lovely together, leaving your skin stained with its beautiful smells, lasting all day! They make fantastic stocking stuffers/birthday gifts.

I will only ever partner with companies I believe in and trust! So as of recently, I have become one of Beauty Factory South Africas brand ambassadors.

I will be working with BF for the next three months, demoing and reviewing the amazing bath and body products they have to offer.

Pamper Evening

After a long week of staring at my computer screen, now and again I like to spoil myself to a much earned pamper evening! That is if Reece doesn’t gate crash on my plans.

This slumber party for one typically happens on a Friday night. I get home, kick my shoes off, take my makeup off, tie my hair up and make a pot of tea. YouTube is my drug of choice when it comes to getting my mind off of the week’s problems.

After YouTubing for about an hour comes my favorite part of the pamper evening, BATH TIME!

Before I head to the bathroom I grab the products that speak to my soul for that day. As of lately, I have been enjoying the Beauty Factory’s Candy Floss range that they sent me. The smell of these bath products is so damn delicious! It screams candy store.

I am always trying new ways on how to keep my feel moisturized to make the dead skin removal process fast and painless. I typically go for a rich nourishing body butter to lather on my feet and cover them with fuzzy socks.

Just like every other night, I like ending the chilled evening off with a good social media session, checking my Facebook and Instagram for a good hour or so.

Enriched with the scent of a Spanish Garden of sweet must, this Shower Crème is a must-have in your shower. I enjoyed this product as it really soften my skin and also ensure a very fragrance-filled shower. One doesn’t necessarily even have to apply cream after using this as it softs your skin so incredibly.

Skin-Firming Body Lotion

This Body Lotion contains coenzyme Q10 to soften and replenish the skin. It has skin-firming properties and is great for everyday use. When I applied the lotion, it was so soft and thick on my skin. I got a bit confused because I felt grainy bits in the lotion. I then realised that this grain was my dry skin. I was so surprised because I didn’t even class my skin as dry at that moment but the lotion got straight to work. This is definitely one of my Beauty Factory Favourites.

Silky Smooth Body Butter

This extra-moisturising body butter leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. It is extremely rich and creamy. I would recommend this for everyday use to people who suffer from very dry skin. It is also a great solution if you suddenly suffer from dry skin due to changes in climate or any other cause.

Creamy Moisturising Body Mousse

This mousse leaves your skin soft, supple and feeling moisturised with added Q10 which assists in firming of the skin. This is another good option for everyday use. It isn’t as thick as the other products but is very creamy. My skin felt very fresh after using this product.

Review: Beauty Factory Moisturising Candle

Lying in a bath filled with the most gorgeous Candy Floss Beauty Factory products, a candle lit on the side and an atmosphere of pure relaxation. That is what I call being in heaven.

I have a bit of a candle obsession. I suppose its more like an obsession with amazing scents. So naturally, the Beauty Factory is my favourite store to indulge in a shopping spree. From all the products that I have used so far, this candle is definitely my favourite product from the Beauty Factory.

A massage candle is a wonderful product. You get the best of both worlds with this candle, as you can light the candle, let it full your room with an amazing scent and then afterwards use the wax as a lotion for your skin.

To me, the scent of the candle is one of it’s selling points. It is a wonderful combination of sweet musk cocktail and caramel. One of the best scents I have ever smelt.

The best way to use it would be to allow the candle to burn for at least 20 minutes in order to form a melt pool, whilst lying in the bath and taking in the beautiful aromas and flavours of the essential oils. Then once out of the bath, place your finger into the melt pool and rub into your skin. The wax is hot, but only 2 degrees hotter than your body temperature so it will have a warm feeling on your skin.

The scent of the candle helps one to lie and relax in the bath or simply in any room you wish to burn it. It is a long lasting candle and the scent immediately fills the room.

Using the wax as a lotion leaves your skin feeling soft and rejuvenated. It is a very oily consistency which is great for your skin. The scent also soaks into your skin, leaving a long-lasting fragrance.

I believe that a good candle must be well fragranced, last long and giving an amazing glowing light, and this candle ticks all of the above points. It is a lovely gift for yourself or for one of your loved ones.
